Have you considered the benefit of clean windows? Not only does cleaning your windows offer a better view of your property or surrounding scenery (Which, let's face it, the Puget Sound and Greater Seattle Area have plenty of!) it also provides better air quality from less allergens. When window screens are washed it lessens opportunities for mold growth when no dust, dirt or debris is on the glass of your window to mix with moisture from the humidity of the air which promotes a mold friendly environment. We strongly recommend that everyone crack their windows or open their windows fully at least once a week for several hours, not only does this move otherwise stagnant air but it also changes the relative humidity of your home.
Another way to prevent poor air quality is to regularly service your central air systems filters. Before you schedule your service let us know what size filter your system uses and we will bring one along and change it for you. While some of our customers are monthly, most are 3-6 months which is the standard frequency to change your home's air filter. We also recommend to wash your homes walls and fixtures at least once a year and keeping furniture at least 6-8 inches from walls prevents trapping allergens as well!
